Getting Down to Business
Today at work, I assisted and encouraged a non-trad who felt anxious and overwhelmed by this new technology of online learning as she navigated through her courses. I know very well how she felt. Starting something or venturing into territory that is so new and unfamiliar can often make one feel somewhat inadequate and unsure. As a tutor and a non-trad student, I have the benefit and honor of encouraging others in this area. My job is quite rewarding. Last night, as I logged on to begin the first day of my online courses, I felt overwhelmed. Imagine that; it has only been two years since I was a student at the local community college! For me, as a traditionalist who requires some time to adjust to new and different things, taking university courses from a distance, is new and different. But, tonight, I have already begun to feel more settled and I am better organized.

We are never too old for firsts!
Wow, I never would have imagined that I would have a blog! Since it is a requirement for one of my university courses, I thought I might as well use it. The Lord has blessed me with two wonderful sons, one very special daughter-in-law, and four precious grandchildren. I love and enjoy my job as a Professional Tutor and I hope you love your job, too, or at least, that you can find something about it to love or enjoy. Have a great evening. I am off to do more homework.
